Teapots and candlesticks that talk? How about walls that talk! The Ladybug Queen’s castle is alive with rumour, but also really helpful about alerting folks when the pantry is running low on cinnamon or pickled jalapeños. It’s the only building in the Woods that has won a medal of honour - finding the puppy of a visiting delegation averted a diplomatic crisis.

C1 Pavement - 1 skein (grey)
C2 Madonna - 1 skein (red)

•Needles
US 1 / 2.25 mm needles for knitting in the round or size needed to get gauge. I recommend needles long enough to do magic loop or 2 needles for the 2-circulars method for at least the first dozen rounds of the base of the castle.

For the rest of the base and walls, 16” / 40 cm circulars can be swapped in. If you love using DPNs, they work well on the tower sections.

•Notions
stitch markers, cable needle, yarn needle, roving/polyfill stuffing, stiff cardboard, white felt, 24” / 60 cm tan embroidery floss, sewing needle, craft or fabric glue, scrap yarn

Approximate Fingering Weight Yardage
