These mittens feature owls and olive trees - symbols of the goddess Athena.

The sample was knit with 2.25 mm dpns using Knit Picks Palette in the following colors:

Main color: Wonderland Heather (130 yards)
Contrast color 1: Bison (110 yards)
Contrast color 2: Ash (1 yard - used only for 16 duplicate stitches)

Pattern assumes familiarity with increases/decreases, picking up stitches, stranded knitting, reading a colorwork chart, and basic mitten construction.

2.10.2018: New version to correct typo on p2 - Left hand - knit the LEFT chart, not right!!! :)

4.1.2017: The charts have been updated to move the end of round on the left hand and to add more leaves to the palm side of both hands.
