Meet Greta; this darling giraffe might be a little clumsy at times, but what she lacks in grace, she makes up with charm and cuddliness.

She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

• CC: Toffee (70 yards)

Greta is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, single crochet into the bottom of a foundation chain, increases, decreases, color changes, and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes are given as well.
