Green Tea
by Mia Rinde
Do I promise that a Green Tea shawl will have the health benefits of drinking tea? Maybe not, but I can offer homage with a plethora of leaves popping out from a reverse stockinette background in a gentle crescent shape, pleasing to the most discerning tastes.
Green Tea is a crescent-shaped shawl. It requires 300-400 meters of dk weight yarn. Use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect. The shawl can be enlarged by adding additional repeats.
Green shawl used 1 skein Wollmeise Merino DK in Petersilie 100% merino, 468 yd/428 m per 200g on 4 mm (US 6) needles. Blocked size is 44 x 140 cm (17 x 55 inches). Gauge is 13 stitches and 26 rows per 10 cm in pattern.
