Great Wall Hat: This design came to me while I was traversing the Great Wall during my recent trip to China. The unique cable represents the twists and turns of The Great Wall of China using a twisted cable stitch, which really pops the cable off the fabric of the hat.
Materials:
#4 –Worsted about 100 (125) yards. Shown in Amano Warmi (70% Baby Alpaca/30% MerinoWool, 164 yards) Wheat #6001(1 skein)

US 5 & 7 16” Circular Needles, US 7 Double Pointed Needles, Cable Needle, Stitch Markers
Gauge:
20 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 7 Needles
Finished Measurements:
Adult Small: 17” circumference x 7” tall
Fits up to a 20” circumference.
Adult Medium/Large: 18” circumference x 9” tall
Fits up to a 22” circumference
