The Great Diving Beetle (Dytiscus marginalis) is an aquatic diving beetle native to Europe and northern Asia. This pattern consists mostly of flats shapes which have a very nice finished look with surface slip-stitch details. It uses a mix of Medium and Sport weight yarns and utilizes the fun technique of Twisted Cords for its ‘whiskers’ and ‘toes’. The finished result is very suitable for children when made of washable materials.
