This pattern is based on the European honey bee, Apis mellifera, and is complete with little pollen baskets on its back legs. Everything it needs to make honey :)

Finished size of this bee is about 37 centimeters from antennas to stinger. If real bees were this big, a single one of them could produce honey for your tea every day!
