The biggest crane fly you’ve ever seen! Personally I find these guys a bit creepy - they remind me of flying spiders - but this lady is all about hugs and cuddles!

You can tell it’s a female by the shape of the abdomen. The females are bulging with eggs and have a pointy tail to poke into the soil where they lay their eggs. The males are slimmer with a rounded tail end. So now, if you want, you can change up the pattern a little and make yourself a couple of crane flies :)
