This pattern is part of a collection of Mists that Kerstin Olsson created between 1963 and 1965. In addition to the Gray Mist hat, there are kits available for a pullover/cardigan and for a pullover with a patterned cowl. The Gray Mist with PINK as the main color is available as a pullover/cardigan and finally, the GREEN Mist is available as a pullover/cardigan as well as a jacket. BLUE mist is also available.

This hat comes in a kit with enough yarn to make a one color scarf. Knit the hat first and use the leftover main color yarn (318) to make the scarf.
