This cuff-down sock pattern has bits of colorwork, a French toe, and a super-thick garter stitch heel. They are knit in sport weight wool.

7.5 (9)“ {19 (23) cm} This is the finished circumference, which should be slightly smaller than your actual foot circumference. Leg and foot are knit to your desired length.

Notes on Gauge
The gauge in the colorwork section should match or be looser than the gauge in the stockinette section. If your gauge tends to tighten up in colorwork, use a larger needle for the charted portions of the pattern. If your colorwork is too tight, your sock won’t fit over your heel!
