Gratitude Blanket
An on-trend, vintage, square blanket design, featuring lace triangle motifs. This versatile blanket makes a perfect, special occasion gift for a baby shower, a housewarming, an engagement or wedding, or a birthday.
Size can easily be adjusted according to preference. Although designed for using a single colour yarn or gradient yarn, multiple colours can also be used.

Note: If you have purchased the First Born Love Blanket prior to 6 Aug 2025, this pattern will be gifted to you. This pattern has been taken from the high-level First Born Love Blanket Supplement document and is now written up as its own pattern with detailed instructions instead. Please be patient with me as I work through the list of users/emails to gift to.
- Project Level: Easy.
- Yarn: Fingering/3ply/Cat. 1 or Sport/4-5ply/Cat. 2 or DK/8ply/Cat. 3 weight yarn or Worsted/10ply/Cat. 4 weight yarn. Low-pill or non-pill, easy wash fibre (such as cotton, cotton blends, bamboo blends, and certain acrylics and easy wash wools).
- Hook: Use yarn label as a guide. Swatch to determine the optimal hook size to achieve desired drape/softness.
- Blanket Size: Size to individual preference. Size will vary with number of repeats worked, weight of chosen yarn and hook size.
- Gauge: Specific gauge not required.
- Stitch Terminology: US. Refer to Abbreviations and Special Stitch Instructions.
- Pattern Synopsis: Square blanket constructed in the round on right side from centre outwards, using Ch, DC, SC, and Sl St stitches. The blanket solid blocks and lace blocks each repeat over three rounds. Each round commences in a corner and all stitch increases are made in the four blanket corners.
