Granny's Garden Blanket
A beginner crochet friendly pattern that uses a small range of stitches; including but not exclusive of the granny stripe stitch, V stitch and popcorn stitch that create a beautiful texture and the illusion of a flower.
The pattern will create a small cot sized blanket, but can be made smaller or larger by increasing/decreasing starting chain and repeats. It can be worked in any weight yarn with the recommended hook size which will also create either a smaller or larger blanket depending on yhe yarn weight chosen.
I chose to use several colours and changed colour for each repeat, each repeat calls for approx. 50g (0.5 skeins) of coloured DK yarn with up to 150g (1.5 skeins) of each of the main colours (green and white).
All you need otherwise is your hook to crochet, Scissors to break yarn and a needle to weave in the ends
Happy crocheting
