Granny Stitch Santa/Elf Hat
Charisma is only optional. You do not need to use a thicker yarn for the brim, I only like how fluffy and soft it made it. It does not change the brim very much to use charisma as it works up a tad small for being a 5 weight.
Others used worsted weight and the sizing was not affected. Others used worsted doubled up with a sparkly dk weight, which I think might be a nice addition.
Another nice option might be a worsted held double with fur.
-There is a long option for every size for those who would like to see their pom pom on their chest and a short option for those looking for a more traditional stocking cap.
This stocking hat works for both men and women! With women it takes on a more elegant appeal, but it still looks very nice on my very manly husband!
