Crochet sweater for beginners

This is not your granny’s sweater. The cozy sweater is simple enough for anyone to follow. If you always wanted to venture into crochet top patterns then this is for you. The pattern is for an oversize  V-neck granny square sweater that can be made in any worsted weight yarn. The pattern is written using 3 colors, but you can change colors at any point or keep it all one color.
This is an easy to intermediate pattern. Stitch instructions and some instructional photos are included. This is written in US crochet terminology.

Size options include:
S/M/L/Xl

Please make sure to check your gauge before getting started.

Yarn yardage will depend on size. A size M or L uses approximately 1900 yards. Six skeins of Caron Simply Soft
