Granny Square Hot Pad

A free version is also available.
The Granny Square Hot Pad is a free crochet pattern on my blog!
This easy, double-thick pot holder is made from a basic crochet granny square worked to approximately a 12” square in 3 different colors. The square is then folded and seamed to create a double layer hot pad!
This crochet granny square pot holder is a great way to use up your cotton yarn scraps! Customize easily by changing colors, adding rounds to make larger, add the wood ring or crochet a hanging loop. You choose!
I have a complete tutorial to help you with a basic granny square if you are new to crochet as well as a tutorial to walk you through folding and seaming your pot holder as well!
