I’ve designed this granny square for the blog “Großmütterchen”. The members of this blog want to create an afghan together, sell it, and donate the benefit to help the japanese people.

This granny square is the japanes flag with a ginko leaf. To the people in Asia, ginko is a symbol for hope, long life and fertility.

Hope, health and long life are my wishes to all the japanese people with this granny square.
