Grandad’s relationship with his silver tabby is very easy-going. The cat is allowed to lie on his desk while Grandad writes, and on one side of the billiard table while he cues up. The tabby’s fur smells of pipe tobacco and whiskey, evidence of the old man’s affection.

He is knit all in one piece from head to tail, including the legs, and would also look quite dashing in two different shades of orange or yellow.

Measuring 16 inches long (not including tail), and 6 inches wide when knit with recommended yarn weight and needle size.
