Gradient Socks
These socks are knit sideways, from a provisional cast-on at the inside of the leg, over the top of the foot, and around the heel. The sock is then grafted to form a tube, and stitches are picked up for the toe.
Separate instructions are given for the right and left socks, so the color gradient flows in opposite directions. The two socks are
mirror images of each other.

1 Huckleberry Knits Double-Stranded Gradient sock blank (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 100g/463 yds)
• 1 skein
Needles: Size 1.5 (2.5mm) circular needles 24” long and needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round or
size needed to obtain gauge
Spare circular needle the same size or smaller than size used to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn
Gauge
32 sts x 48 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
