1. The Scarf begins as two separate halves. The halves are joined and worked in one piece, then are separated into halves again to work the last 2½ in. (6.5 cm) of the Scarf.
2. A 3-needle bind off joins the ends of the Scarf and creates a keyhole opening.

You will also need either a stitch holder or waste yarn to hold open stitches, and an extra US6 needle for the 3-needle bind off.
