Materials
Any type of fingering or light fingering weight yarn- 2 contrast colors (A and B)
The sample made of Louisa Harding Yarn, 50g/ 250m, 80% wool, 20% silk
This pattern can be worked with any yarn weight or brand. Variations in yarn thickness will naturally affect the scarf’s width and length.

Knitting needle and other notions
US2 ½ /3mm, with 20” / 50 cm cable or straight needle
Stitch markers, tapestry needle

Gauge
26 stitches x 56 rows = 4”x4” / 10x10cm
Gauge is measured on the scarf laid flat and relaxed.
Gauge isn’t crucial for this project, but differences will affect the finished size, as well as the required yardage.
