Goro Cardigan

Goro is a cropped cardigan with wide ribbing at the bottom (but could easily be knit to whatever length you would like). Knit with Barrett Wool Co Home Worsted, so it knits up quickly. Knit in the round, bottom up with a steek, and a vertical button band. I chose to knit this cardigan in Marmalade - the perfect orange, and Picket Fence (don’t you just love the names?) I’ve worn this cardi year round (in the summer in the mountains) over dresses, jeans, with skirts and overalls. I love the fit. Wear with a 4-inch positive ease.

US 5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) 32-inch (40 for larger sizes)circular needles. US 5 (3.75)double-pointed needles. US Size 7 (4.5) DPNs and 16-inch circular needle or needles needed to obtain gauge.

20 stitches = 4 inches or 10 cm on larger needles.

Note: Swatch in both one color and in colorwork. You may need to knit the single-color part of the sweater with a smaller needle than the colorwork section. The gauge is the same throughout the sweater.
