A textured crescent shawl that is easy to make, with a playful popcorn edging.

The crescent shape follows the natural curvature of your body and wraps you much more comfortably than a simple triangle.

The size will depend on the yarn you select. You can use any gradient yarn cake, starting at 600 meters in minimum length (like the yarn used for the first sample) for a small wrap or “triangle” scarf, going up to 1000 meters for a larger shawl.

The gauge is not essential, although it is important that you keep even tension throughout the project. If you want to add the border, you will need to stop when you have enough yarn for another two rows (popcorn stitches use up more yarn).
