Goose Eye Mittens

Pattern was designed to create a very tight gauge for added warmth. The designer lives in Barrow, Alaska where average winter temperatures hover near 30 degrees below zero. The stranding increases the warmth of these mittens. Though I have not done this, you might try a DK or sportweight yarn if you live in a warmer climate.
Pattern requires 2 colors of Cascade yarn. The mohair is held along with one of these colors for a halo and to add an elegant contrast.
