This pattern is written in USA terms.

There are a few rounds of front post and back post stitches - there are links to tutorials on the blog page with the pattern. There is also a mini-photo tutorial for the Front Post Treble stitches featured in round three.

I have worked this square with DK (8ply) yarn and a 4mm hook, however, everyone hooks differently, so if you are having trouble sizing your square to six inches, then there is a link on the blog page to a fabulous tutorial by Moogly on resizing squares.
