Going in Circles is a shawl that embraces that motion: smooth circles that settle into the fabric, airy rings that open the path, and a colorful border that ties the whole loop together. It’s playful, a little dizzy, and a lot of fun—proof that going in circles isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, it can be beautiful.

Knit top-down, this shawl plays with circle-inspired stitches that shift and flow together. It’s a fun, dynamic design — perfect for that bold, multicolored skein you fell in love with and never quite knew what to do with!

Miss Babs Caroline was an easy choice — soft, warm, and delightfully squishy in every stitch.

Yarn: Miss Babs Caroline (70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon, 400yd /95g)
Colorway (C1) – Fleur de Sel, 1 skein (gray) 380 yards
Colorway (C2) –Rock Around the Clock, 1 skein (multicolored) 350 yards

Needles: US 4/3.5mm 24” or 32” circular needles or as required to meet gauge

Notions: Stitch Markers, T-pins and blocking wires for blocking

Gauge: 24 stitches = 4 inches in Garter after blocking. Although gauge is not crucial for this project, it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements. A looser gauge will result in the use of more yarn.

Finished Size: 54” x 40” x 36” wide after blocking.
