Chevron pattern, neck shaping with short-rows and GLO Reflective Yarn for safely walking at night….. Fun to knit and super fun to put it on your pooch!

YARN -Great project to use all the left over yarns! The samples are knitted with Malbrigo Rios + GLO Reflective Yarn.. I changed color every 6 rows, but you could do anything you want. If you do 6 rows, you will need approx 8.5(10.5)yards for each stripe. The yardage above is a total of the whole sweater.
1 skein of GLO Reflective Yarn comes with 21yards. You can add 2 sections of strip with it.

Whole sweater - 140(200)yards
Chevron Stripe Section - 90(130)yards
Neck band & Under body - 50(70)yards

NEEDLES -Please use the size for gauge 20sts/4”. You need one size bigger needles for knitting with GLO Reflective Yarn.

S/M - 12”long, 15”around chest, 11”around neck
M/L - 14”long, 18”around chest, 14”around neck

GLO Reflective Yarn - GLO is a very unique reflective yarn. The flat reflective tape is inside of the nylon mesh tube. So you can knit or crochet just like your regular yarn. GLO reflects car head lights, enhancing the visibility or the wearer at nighttime.
