Dario Tubiana has a passion for Fair Isle yoked garments, and his latest design is a joyously colourful cardigan. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round, then joined to work the yoke. The pattern incorporates a column of steek stitches which are cut open; Dario uses the crochet method to reinforce the steek. An applied i-cord is worked on to the edges, to give a neat finish. The cardigan is fastened at the neck with a single button and a crochet button loop.
