Glide Cowl
Glide through this fun project to create a dramatic cowl. Using two colors, the Glide cowl is a fast colorwork project with big impact. Worked SEAMLESSLY from the top down, it knits up quickly (like any good cowl should), but wears like a hassle-free shawl.
The Glide cowl is the third pattern in the Discover cowl collection. This collection is a 3-cowl collection. The cowls in this collection are knit flat in the shape of a triangle and then joined to work in the round. Unlike traditional tube cowls that rumple into a pile of knitting around your neck, this shawl-shaped construction lets your knitting shine by creating a triangular front and shortened back. The shape is wonderful, wearable, and just plain fun to knit.
All three cowls in the Discover cowl collection include:
- Top-Down, Seamless Construction
- Shawl-Shaped Wearability
- Simple, Easy-to-Memorize Colorwork
- Charts & Written Instructions (even for the colorwork)
- Endless Stash-Busting Opportunities
