Glass Knot Afghan
Celtic knots glow like stained glass in this clever afghan. Each of the three sizes of the Glass Knot Afghan is made of several tiles that are knit identically and then sewn together. The pattern includes three different sizes - choose between a lap blanket, an afghan, or a bedspread sized throw. What really gives these blankets their glow is the subtle shading of Chroma, which makes each tile unique. There are three types of tile: Full tiles (the squares), Half Tiles, and Quarter Tiles. The Full tiles are worked in the round, and the others are worked flat which will require stranding from the WS. In each case, the cast-on row forms a selvedge for seaming. Finally, the afghan is completed with a decorative I-cord border.
Shown in ‘Throw’ size.
