Give Me A Clew
This afghan, or wall-hanging is a representation of a Roman labyrinth discovered in Wales (UK).
It consists of a filet crochet square grid and walls applied with surface crochet. The labyrinth could also be applied to an existing blanket, or other square mesh base.
Any yarn can be used for the background though the yarn chosen might affect the overall size. The walls can be made of any textured yarn. It could be the ideal solution for that exotic yarn you can’t find any other use for.
Children love to play on the floor with large scale mazes, tracing the walls or running cars along the roads. However, this is not recommended as a baby blanket or for anyone else who might be in danger from getting their fingers caught in the holes.
Buy the pattern on its own or in Maisie’s Mazes.
