Gitte's socks
I will donate 25% of pattern proceeds through April 15th, 2011 to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund via Globalgiving.org.
An eyelet check pattern is simple to work yet gives a lovely, feminine effect to these fingering-weight socks. For best results, select a solid, semi-solid or muted multi-color yarn so that the pattern stitch shows up clearly.
Written for two circular needles.
Sized for adult women’s small/medium/large: 7 (8, 9) inch circumference
Gauge: 8 sts = 1 inch
Shown in Black Bunny Fibers Bamboo Lite; other good choices would be BBF Superwash Merino Classic, BBF Tight Twist, BBF Cashsock, BBF Twist O’Silk, or any other fingering-weight yarn with good stitch definition.
