This is the 14th in a series of 24 linked patterns, published daily in December 2014, to decorate a knitted Gingerbread House. The pattern for the house itself is published separately.

A knitted snowdrift lies along the bottom of all the walls of the Gingerbread House. It is knitted in sections and shaped with short rows. You will need about 12g of cream DK weight yarn; use the same colour that you covered the roof with. This is the last pattern for the body of the house, the next patterns will move on to decorating the roof.
