The leaves have only just started to turn- pale yellow tips to rich orange-golden hues are scattered amongst the green. Squirrels and chipmunks dart excitedly, hoarding treasures of found acorns in preparation for the impending cold season ahead. A quiet breeze, only strong enough to gently rustle the leaves, sings a song of oncoming change.
