Gingembre fingerless mittens are quick and easy project. The design features fun to knit variation of the basketweave stitch. Gingembre is ginger in French.

Teen (S Adult) / M (L) Adult
Fits hand: 7.5 inches (19 cm)/8 inches (21 cm) measured around the palm and 7.5 inches (22 cm) / 9.4 inches (24 cm) measured around the palm with a thumb.
Mitten length: 7.5inches(19 cm)/7.9 inches(20 cm).

Gauge
The gauge in the Basketweave stitch after blocking measures 32 sts x 48 rows in 4 inchesx4 inches / 10 cm x 10 cm.

Yarn
140/150 yards (128/137 meters) of Gems Fingering Weight by Louet (Fingering / 4 ply, 100% Merino, 185 yards / 50 grams) in colorway Ginger.

Notions
US1 – 2.25 mm dpns. Instructions are for dpns. Magic loop can be used as well.
