This pattern gives you 2 design options for the hat: a shorter beanie style and a longer slouchy version.
This hat is knit with 1 strand of Haven and 1 strand of Silk Cloud held together.

Materials:
Beanie 1 skein of Haven & 1 skein of Silk Cloud from Shibui Knits (shown in Deep Water)
Slouchy 2 skeins of Haven & 1 skein of Silk Cloud from Shibui Knits (shown in Syrah)
Needle:
Circular needle, Sizes 3.50 mm (4 US) & 4.00 mm (6 US)
Optional for crown decreases: dpns, Size 4.00 mm (6 US) (or 3.75 mm – 5 US)
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
1 Stitch Marker
Gauge:
21 sts x 30 rounds = 4 in blocked, in stockinette
Size:
16 in wide at the ribbing, unstretched, 8 in high for beanie, 9.75 in high for slouchy
