This crochet crescent shawl pattern uses a simple mesh pattern with a one-row repeat. Use a self-striping yarn to make colorwork easy. This is the first pattern in the second annual Gift to Myself Crochet Along.

Teen/Adult: 18.5” (47 cm) spine x 61” (155 cm) wingspan.
Materials
KFI Collection Pinwheel yarn (100% acrylic, 5.3 oz/150 g/541 yd/495 m) – 2 skeins in 08 Wildflowers, or approximately 815 yd (745 m) in any fine weight, self-striping yarn.
US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.
Yarn needle.
Gauge
16 sts (8 dc + 8 ch-1 sp) = 4” (10 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
