Ghanima and Leto II were Paul and Chani’s twins. They didn’t know their mother as she died from birth complications, but both were born with Reverend Mother knowledge. I have decided to represent them as baby socks that look complicated, but are simple 1x1 cables and knit and purl stitches. The texture can either characterize the landscape of Dune or their bumpy lives filled with twists and turns. Ghanima has a picot cast on edge while Leto II is a plain cast on, but as twins, they use the same pattern. Pattern comes in 3 sizes from newborn to 2 years old. Sock is worked top down with folded over cuff and heel flap and will look good in both tonal yarns and solid colors.
