George is a well-dressed little bear, with a waistcoat and bow tie. This bear stands at just 14cm tall, and is quick to knit if you are looking for a smaller toy project. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bear is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons for eyes, a stitch holder, and black yarn to embroider the nose.

One size only - 14cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
