Geographer's Sweater
The body of this pullover is worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarm, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth. After the shoulders are seamed, sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeve cap is shaped with short-rows. The sleeve is then worked in the round from the top down.

Yarn Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool: #148 mountain mist green, 6 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) hanks. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Needles Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): 16” and 29” circular and set of doublepointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 21 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needle.
