Geoffrey is a cuddly penguin cushion. Knit Geoffrey in bright yarn shades for a pop of colour on your sofa, or use black and white for a more traditional penguin. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the penguin is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
King Cole Galaxy DK (31% Wool/65% Acrylic with sequins) and King Cole Big Value DK (100% Acrylic).

Tapestry needle, toy filling, and buttons for eyes.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, intarsia colour-work for the penguin’s tummy, and seaming to finish.
