Genevieve Gloves
These are lightweight fingerless gloves ideal for cycling or driving in Autumnal climes. I have made them in one size although a proficient crocheter can always reduce or add stitches to fit, the fingers and worked so that you can customise to fit too. One ball of yarn is more than enough for a pair, in fact if you do buy the two colours you will have more than enough for yourself and maybe another set as a gift for a chum.
Versatile and quite easy to make the detail round the cuff give them a feminine finish.
Please be aware that an errata was published in Issue 47 for the Left hand:
Here is my written version starting at end of Row 8- ‘Lay flat with 5ch opening on the top, count 17sts round from right side of opening, working on the (WS) join in yarn.
Row 9: 2ch, (counts as 1htr), 1htr into each st to 5ch, 1htr into each of the 5ch, 1htr into each st to the end, slst to join, turn (51sts)
Working in the following sequence, (RS), (WS) and (RS).’
