GENEVIEVE is a great two-evening or weekend-day project!

An elegant scarf inspired by the contrast between the delicacy and strength of dragonflies in flight, this design offers the knitter an original stitch pattern (“Formositas,” literally “beauty” in Latin) and is knit flat (in one piece).

Quick results and lovely appearance are further enhanced by its pairing with a striking scarf pendant such as the silver-tone Dragonfly slide (which is also pictured here).

Complex-appearing lacy openwork abstract representations of winged swoops and swirls are much more easily created than one might imagine, and row-by-row narrative instructions are provided.

This scarf is a pleasure to knit and will rapidly become an often-worn favorite!
