Belonging to the Genus Yarnosaurus, the Geckosaurus has been recently sighted near dams and waterholes in the Sthn Highlands of N.S.W. Preferring to inhabit native bushland, the Geckosaurus terrorises rabbits by jumping upon them unawares, raising his spikes, waving his claws and hissing at them before collapsing in hysterics.

Geckosaurus is a member of the Yarnosaurus family. His siblings include Splashosaurus, Arachnosaurus and Quackosaurus.

As this is a stuffed toy, use a smaller needle than is recommended for the yarn to achieve a tighter fabric. (Therefore gauge is not important.) You need approx 50g each of two contrasting colours.
For small children, avoid using buttons for eyes. A small piece of dowel as a backbone ensures Geckosaurus can sit independently, but this is optional.
