Gathering
I made a pullover using my swatches a few years ago, and I got many requests to make a pattern for the top. It was a free-form piece using many different needle sizes, gauges, yarns, fibers, and more. So instead, I made this cowl that looks like it was made from a collection of knit swatches.
It is made with four panels, each with a few stitch patterns, all of which have been used in previous DanDoh patterns. To show the variety of fabric, some sections are knitted with one strand, and other sections with two or three strands of yarn held together.
This design was for DanDoh Retreat 2026.
