The back panel is picked up along the rectangular fronts and shaped with a central line of decreases that creates a dramatic tuxedo tail in a striped jacket.
Finished Size 16½ (18 , 20½, 22¼)” back width from armhole to armhole and 32¼ (36, 40, 43½)” back length. Jacket shown measures 18¾” across back.

Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 40″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge 18 sts and 36 rows = 4″ in garter st.
Notions Marker (m); stitch holders; waste yarn; tapestry needle.
