Garnered
With a restful soul, they released last year from their hands. Let it drift off to join the other years, gently settled one upon another. Garnering wisdom, garnering peace, gathering the love and memories of family and friends, their fingers drifted softly over photographs and wrote kindness on postcards to mail. A choice, present, to choose the path that love leads. Joy, so quietly embraced can set trees to root and hearts to grow.
