Knit a trio sweet and cuddly Guinea Pigs from this easy to follow pattern! If you’re new to knitting toys, you can start with the one-colour variety. If you want to try some fun intarsia, try out the two- or three-colour varieties.

The sample toys are made with Knit Pick’s Wonderfluff yarn, which makes a very soft and slightly fuzzy toy, and works great for the intarsia varieties. If you’d like a toy that’s easier to wash, and can endure a lot more cuddling, look for a yarn that’s acrylic, cotton, or a blend.

Yarn for 1-colour: 75 g (150 yds) of golden brown worsted weight yarn
Yarn for 2-colour: 40 g (80 yds) of white worsted weight yarn (main colour, MC), 30 g (60 yds) of black worsted weight yarn (contrasting colour, CC)
