Rich scent, vibrant colors, lavender is the first in our celebration of Washington State. Lavender fields and farms are now a staple of the Rain Shadow on the Olympic Peninsula and our cowl project represents this wonderful plant with a tuck stitch and simple ribbing. The ribs of the cowl follow up the stitches just like the stems of this medicinal plant lead up to the flowers. The multitude of lavandin types are represented in a lavender gradient. --Sierra
