The colorwork chart for this hat came from The Swedish Mitten Book (1984). This beanie makes a great first project for those new to stranded knitting. The stitch pattern is very easy to memorize and the floats are very short.

Sample shown uses colors 25662 Currant and 25284 Saffron, less than one ball of each. If you need to size up the hat, you’ll still have plenty of yarn to work with.
