Galiano Shawl
The Galiano Shawl was inspired by my visit to Galiano Island, British Columbia, many years ago. While I was not a knitter at the time of my visit, I was able to enjoy being surrounded by knitters of all skill levels. One of the lovely knitters there gifted me my first hand-knit shawl, and ever since that day, I knew I had to make one myself. And so I made a promise that one day I would learn how to knit, and create a shawl to wrap myself in the beautiful memories of those months.

The Galiano Shawl is a triangle-shaped shawl, worked from the top down. It features eyelets, lace, ribbing and garter along with stockinette.
